Education and More
Dr. Cruse attended Texas A&M University, receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1988. He then went on to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1992.
After graduation from dental school, Dr. Cruse was commissioned into the United States Army Dental Corps, where he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and served his country for six years.
He regularly attends continuing dental education courses to stay informed of new procedures, techniques and materials. He studied with the internationally renowned Dr. John Kois at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. He’s also a member of the San Antonio chapter of the prestigious Seattle Study Club, a group of local specialists and general dentists working and learning together with the common goal of providing our patients with first class dental care.

Outside the Practice
In his free time, Dr. Cruse enjoys skiing. He’s also very active in his church and has done charity work for Haven For Hope, a homeless shelter in San Antonio.
He has been married to Dr. Susie Hayden, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, for 31 years. They are proud parents of daughter Forrest, a pre-med student at Texas A&M, and son Will, a stellar student-athlete at Texas Military Institute.
